The Vulture eats between his meals, And that's the reason why He very, very, rarely feels As well as you and I.

His eye is dull, his head is bald, His neck is growing thinner. Oh! what a lesson for us all To only eat at dinner!

    memories

    great to have come across this poem.It brings my childhood memories way back in Kenya around 1975 when i was in std 4 at the Catholic Parochial School. i remember reciting this poem infront of the class as part of end of the school term exams and i was very nervous

    the head teacher at the primary school I attended as a child quoted this rhyme often to discourage us from eating between meals
