The Jewel

There is this cave In the air behind my body That nobodyt is going to touch: A cloister, a silence Closing around a blossom of fire. When I stand upright in the wind, My bones turn to dark emeralds.

    I think that the Cave represents where his "Shadows" stay. No one will touch it because no one except him can "see" it. The silence(his father's shadows) are taking over his soul and are turning him into something that has to do with the meaning of emaralds.
