Who needs a valium when they have Leonard Cohen to put you to sleep. Is it me or do I seem to think that Cohen has a real thing for Women? He is certainly a ladies man. I can remember lyrics about thighs, leg, naked women..well the list goes on. Whatever you think of him, there,s no doubt that his music holds a certain attraction. You seem to want to listen again even thou you nearly drove off the road as you slid…

You seem to want to listen again even thou you nearly drove off the road as you slid into a deep slumber on the highway. The deep timber of his voice and the added female vocals lift his songs and you can always rely on the odd Quirky dittie to interupt the monotonous drone. The Jazz Police is one that comes to mind. But for all these shortcomings, his lyrics go far deeper than any bland pop tune you can find today. Lisen to Cohen (maybe a few times) and keep an open mind to his Muse.
what is this guy talking about?? everybody knows what? leonard cohen wrote gibberish and certainly is not one of the most influential poets ever, he doenst make sense when he writes.
cohen's words are smooth and beautiful. his poetry is breathtaking in my opinion. sally (see above) is clueless, poetically speaking cohen is perfect, and musically speaking his lyrics are above dylan's. if you find his work useless, he is not for you, so go somewhere else please. he is my god.
